Software Testing Glossary

Model of development life cycle, in which the project is divided into a series of increments, each of which adds some functionality to the general requirements of the project.

Testing, in which components or systems are integrated and tested as long as all components or systems are integrated and tested completely.

The division of responsibility, which allows to perform objective testing.

A measure that can be used to estimate or predict another measure.

A path that cannot be verified by any set of possible input values.

Review, which is not based on a formal documented procedure.

The phase within the IDEAL model where the groundwork is laid for a successful improvement effort.

Variable (stored inside or outside the component), reads by the component.

Set from which the correct settings can be selected.
