Risk Control

The process by which decisions and protective measures are taken to reduce risks for a certain level, or maintaining risks within agreed limits.

The importance of risk is determined by its characteristics: impact and probability.

It is systematic use of procedures and practices in order to identify, analyze, prioritize and control risks.

Risk Type

It is a certain risk category in relation to testing types that can mitigate or control this risk category.

Risk-Based Testing

It is the approach to testing aiming to minimize the level of project risks and to inform concerned parties about the current state of risks from the initial stages of a project.

Robustness

It is the level to which a component or a system can function correctly when there are incorrect input data or functioning under stress conditions.
