Configuration Management

It is science, applying technical and administrative guidance and control for: identification and documenting functional and physical characteristics of a configuration element, control of changes to those characteristics, records and reports on the status of implementation of the changes, and also check of the compatibility with the specified requirements.

Configuration Management Tool

Tool providing support for identification and control of configuration items, their status in the context of changes and versions, and release of baselines consisting of configuration items.

Configuration Testing

Testing technique which determines minimal and optimal configuration of hardware and software, and the effect of adding or modifying resources such as memory, disk drives and CPU.

Consistency

It is the level of uniformity, standardization and absence of inconsistencies in documents or parts of a component or a system.

Consultative Testing

Testing driven by the advice and guidance of appropriate experts from outside the test team (for example, technology experts and/or business domain experts).

Context Driven Testing

An Agile Testing technique that advocates continuous and creative evaluation of testing opportunities in light of the potential information revealed and the value of that information to the organization at a specific moment.

Continuous Representation

The structure of software processes maturity model, in which maturity levels provide the recommended approaches to improving processes in selected areas of processes.

Control Chart

A statistical process control tool used to monitor a process and determine whether it is statistically controlled.
