Very often we have task of verifying the compliance of the implemented application to UI mock-ups made by the designer.
Here is necessary to check absolutely everything – colors, fonts, alignment, size of elements.
I would like to offer a few useful tools that will facilitate this task.
1) E-Line – with its help you can get exact information about the size of a fragment of any Windows application, running in windowed mode.
Ruler
2) Pipette - just an advanced eyedropper, nothing more, nothing less. With it you can learn all the ins and outs of a pixel, which is currently pointing the cursor. The main difference from similar programs is that this tool works with all that is currently on your desktop.
3) Service to determine the font – identifies possible font after loading the sample images. Of course, determines not always correct.
