Drupal-based Online Store of an International eCommerce Giant

Our client is an international eCommerce giant selling furniture and goods for home. The company is extremely customer-oriented and, therefore, often releases new versions of their online store and updates it.

However, sometimes this leads to the fact that the client has to migrate their website. This was our first task — to conduct regression testing after the website migration to the new version.

We conducted a thorough analysis of the problem, as well as API and database testing. Our team of specialists found an error in the database structure, which helped to speed up the site requests. After these measures, the page loading speed improved significantly, positively impacting the website's performance.

The next challenge was our favorite, namely testing on a wide range of real browsers and devices. It was caused by the fact that due to the scaling of the project's development team, many UI/UX bugs were noticed.

In order to ensure the smooth operation of the website and the quality of its interaction with users, our testers conducted comprehensive testing and checked the website's performance on 4 different browsers and 9 devices. This allowed us to detect and fix any UI/UX bugs and inconsistencies that may arise when the development team expands. And constant interaction with the development team, thorough testing, and analysis of the results allowed us to identify and solve problems related to the integration and scaling of the project.

The final task was to create all test documentation from scratch. However, our team successfully coped with this stage as well.

Our QA engineers created transparent and easy-to-read test documentation for our client. Moreover, we developed automated test cases to verify the main user cases. This allowed us to quickly and efficiently involve new members of the client's team, transfer the necessary knowledge to them, and quickly connect them to the project.
