An independent evaluation of software products or processes for establish up a correspondence to standards, guidelines, specifications and / or procedures based on objective criteria, including documents that specify:
- form or content of products for production;
- the process whereby products are manufactured;
- how will the compliance with standards or guidelines be measured.
