How Is Testing Connected With the Door Hasp?

Often the long lists of pluses and minuses of each type of these types of checking catch somebody’s eye.  In short, automated testing saves much time but sometimes many resources are required for its execution.

Manual testing may take heaps of time (especially if a system is complex) but this type of checking ensures the thorough testing of each element and each product function.

But what if we look at software testing absolutely from a different angle? One may draw some kind of analogy between the quality control and various types of door hasp. Both may be manual and automated.

When a person closes the manual shutter, he feels safe. After this few people check whether the door is really closed. But when it goes about the automated locks, then many twitch the door in order to make sure that the button is really activated. Such locks do not establish the full credibility.

Does this ring the bells? Who may be sure that the automated tests have really worked correctly?

What Are the Minuses of the Automated Door Locks?

  1. Many details, each of which may fall out.
  2. A good design does not guarantee a high quality.
  3. If the lock went wrong, then one should break it in order to open it or exit the room.
  4. The price of such lock is higher than of the ordinary one.
