The ‘blinders’ – some limitations in the thinking and information perception. Such limits are caused by the existed prerequisites and other people’s experience borrowing.

What Are the Advantages of the ‘Blinders’ Effect?

For the testers which have a general idea about one or another notion or aspect, it is easier to find the common ground. As a result, manual testing or automated testing will be more effective.
  • The ‘blinders’ may promote the effort consolidation of each test team member. The specialists share the common goals and are ready to lay themselves out in order to achieve them.
  • With a view to the previous item, the ‘blinders’ maintain the well-organized support system between the team members.
  • Each type of checking, for example, user interface testing, means an obligated effective communication among the members of the product development and testing process. Rather often exactly the ‘blinders’ ensure the easy communication and the mutual understanding between the specialists.
